he is 16 and his freind is17 and his freind is cool but i have ashma and so i can hardly drive around in my brothers new truck when he is going whith us.

Explain to him that you have a medical condition. Ask him if you have an attach because of his smoking will he take you to the hospital? And will he pay for it? Because when someone is 17 they dont care about anyone but themselves, and you have to put it in a way where they will be bothered, you understand that not all 17 year old boys act this way... but alot do!

Just remind them that it is illegal for a 16 and 17 year old to smoke, and for THEIR OWN PROTECTION (because of the love you have for them), you are obligated to report them if they won't stop.
Also, just tell them quite openly that because of your asthma, you can't be around them, so if they need a ride from you, air out a bit before getting in the car.
Also, 2nd hand smoke is worse than the original smoke, even for a healthy person.

I know you want to go, but don't go with them and risk having an asthma attack. Your brother should choose you over his friend.
Why in the heck is this friend smoking in your brother's new truck anyway?

Ask him to stop while he's in the truck and tell him why. If he refuses, your brother needs to drop him as a friend and if that doesn't happen your parents should get involved.

You need not deal with your brothers friend for smoking. Explain to him why he shouldn't smoke when you are around him and especially if you guys are in a kind of confined space. Its got to do with your health so i expect him to understand.
Where he doesn't understand (which i don't expect), have your brother explain to him otherwise you avoid being in his company.

All I can think of, is to tell him.. "hey I have asthma, I'm sorry but your smoke really bothers me, you think you could wait til you aren't around me to light that?"
I mean, he should understand.. just let him know you aren't trying to be picky about it, it's just that it makes you really uncomfortable.
