Lets just say a teen was conscious of his sin, but refused Jesus and believed life was a dream. Then lets go on to say, he got in a auto-mobile accident and turned into a vegetable. He was no longer able to reason, or think clearly. For the rest of his life he lived in a comma and died? Does this guy have any hope, or his he dooomed?

I think the guy is responsible for actions. From your question, he is clearly aware of his sin and refuses Jesus. He is 100% totally responsible for his actions and beliefs. He is doomed.

To answer the guy above me, it's not about believing or not believing that sends a person to hell. It's the condition of soul. If he is under sin and hasn't been forgiven for his sins, then he is doomed. It's not like whether you just believe that Jesus existed or believed the story. It's whether you put your faith in Jesus to save you. If he heart the message and refused it, then he basically said, Jesus' forgiveness wasn't good enough. And he would find his own way. But Jesus said, "no man comes to the father except through me".

Y'know, the nice thing about the way I believe is that I know that God will give everyone a fair chance at salvation. if he metaphorically spat in the face of God, he'll probably have a rough time with the whole judgment thing. If he was simply being a stupid teen, God will take that into account. We'll all have a chance to make our case, and it won't be the buggers on this site that pass the final decision (thank God for that, no?). Our final judgment will be between the big guy and our self.

The one thing that GOD looks at is something that we cannot know or describe in any scenario.

God looks at and knows the heart of his creation. So for us to know the ultimate outcome of this young man you write about is impossible for us.

Remember the story of David. He was a man after Gods own heart.. David really messed up bad, many many times, but the scripture states that his heart was always with God. If we only study the outside acts of David, we could very easily come away with our own judgement of him and it would'nt be good.

If we study and read the bible with the knowledge and wisdom that our heart is what is truely important to GOD, then we can understand that all the outside mess ups are not what is judged.

You say they are unable to reason, but that is based on our human understanding. We cannot put God in a box, and say because we cannot communicate with them that nobody can. God CAN do anything, we should never compare our abilities and understandings with what God can do,...otherwise we limit God, saying he is no stronger than we are, if we cant understand, than He cant. There is a Holiness, an Almighty Power that is God that no human mind can even begin to wrap their mind around. Never spend time comtemplating IF god can do a thing, He is God. The enemy on the other hand will titilate your imaginations with such thoughts, to render you powerless.
With God all things are possible.

Bible: John 3:18 whoever believes in him is not condemned , but whoever does NOT believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one & only son.

Hope this answers your question & take care

He no longer feels pain. Why must you torture yourself believing in these ridiculous things? This is just one of a multitude of things in Christianity that makes no sense. Pick a better religion, or better yet none at all. If they bring you no comfort what good do they do?

Why do nonbelievers continue creating impossible/improbable hypothetical situations?

Forgiveness of sin and Salvation are God's prerogative, not ours. Which is why no one should ever be sure of his/her own Salvation until they reach Heaven.

If he knew he had sin in his life and did not obey the gospel and repent of his sins he would be lost in eternity.

Probably will be doomed. This is one of the things that bothers me. On one hand he didn't believe, on the other, is it really worthy of eternal torture?
