Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
I have never heard that effeminacy was contrary to the eternal law of God.

Effeminacy is a sin, at times, but, not all the time! Effeminacy is giving out a stereotypical characteristics of an average human female. It's very scientific when you might able to possibly believe that effeminacy ridicules the very behaviour and characteristics of the average human female life-form and not necessarily gives out the real impression of a woman's true emotions according to their own environment. When a man shows off his effeminacy, he might be exhibiting his effeminate and stereotypically feminine nature hidden within his personality and neurobehavioural patterns that are also hidden within his very personality as well as his stereotypically feminine behaviour. And, that's a fact!

I believed it is a sin. Am not judgmental on this but, the scriptures says so and affirmed them. Why it is a sin? It contradict Gods Creation. There is no middle ground.
When God created man, He created them MALE and FEMALE. There is a distinctive feature between them.
So, all of this effeminacy is but a constructions of MIND, and this mind must be renewed to conform to God standard of creations male and female.
Ro 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate MIND, to do those things which are not convenient;
Ro 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my MIND, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Ro 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the MIND I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Ro 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do MIND the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Ro 8:7 Because the carnal MIND is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

No. God made us all with various abilities and weaknesses. It is not a sin to have an addictive personality--that is to be more likely to get addicted to alcohol or drugs. The sin comes in disobeying
God. God commands us not to act out our sexual perversions and not to be a drunkard. So being effeminate is no more a sin than the tendency toward compulsive gambling or gluttony. Until you act on it and violate God's plan for us.

Yes effeminating is a sin,because God has created you as a man why you act as a female.It is called you denied or refused the creation of our God Almighty.We accept whatever God gives us.We must thank to our God what ever will be.It is a God's decree which can not be changed.God will angry with you if you did not receive it well.In Islamic teaching we should believe in God's decree of our birth,livelihood,spose and death.Only God who know exactly what our fortunes will be in the future.Man proposes but God disposes.

im kind of stuned at some of these answers, because no, i would not concider it to be a sin at all, you are who you are, and if a guy is born with a feimine personality, the no its not a sin, its who they are. what are they, supost to live in exile because of the way they wetre born? its not like they chose.
just the same as when we call a girl a tom-boy, it just means shes a little more masculine then most girls.

No, I don't beleive something is a sin that you have no control over. I know a few men that are on the feminine side, must go hand in hand with cooking, they all are better cooks than some of the women I know.
