if you offend someone, they will respond. and people want o respond to the really questionable questions so that everyone sees how clever or correct they are.
but i totally get your point. i answered both of them for you though.
its quite stupid actually, that people wont talk about the nice stuff. EVERYONE WANTS SCANDAL!!!

May be the real question was not an easy one to answer...It needs some thoughts, that's why I haven't answered yet. as for the 1st one, people are "sur la défensive"...they don't take time to read and to think.....It's a pity ... But visit the French web site and you'll realize it's 100 time worse, you don't even get deep thinking about Chrsitian faith and a lot of sectarian comments. I think your question is a good test. We judge others too easily before even taking time to know them. Since I discovered Yahoo answers I've been able to "speak" to people I thought I never would and realized that if you just take time to speak politely with them you can "get on well" with people who completely differ in beliefs.
We need to be more careful. God is slow to anger and one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is self control...we're losing our temper (and I'm like evrybody else) and this does not please God.

This should tell you that there are a lot of illiterate people in this world for one. Also people are just more drawn to more offensive type of material than just the legitimate questions. Humans in general are animistic and unruly, this is tied in to the fact that pretty much of the information humans put into their heads is demeaning, cruel, graphically gory and desensitized. This why so many people jumped on your first question and not your second. But be proud,, because you help represent the other 15% of us that actually fill our minds with interesting and informative information. Great question though, puts humans in perspective, doesn't it?? :)

Well, let's see....
What's easier to answer? A question that may be controversial and is easily answered with some righteous, opinionated babble OR a question that actually takes some careful, thorough thought to answer?
I'm convinced that people are more satisfied in putting someone down and berating them than actually helping someone. I try to be the latter at least 95% of the time. The other 5% goes to the people who actually deserve it. ;)

Ok....let me take both questions now in new perspective. (Thanks for your message also which I just finished reading). I am with you when you said you meant "Home Sapien" as "Man"... but if that was your real intention in asking (and that too about Jesus), you should have opted plain "Whether Jesus was a Man"......and certainly you would not have bombarded with those agonized replies. I am a Hindu guy, but still honour and respect other religions.....Christianity is among them. So when I read your first question, my attention was fixed only on "BOLD" faced letters....and naturally my first reaction was exactly like those of others.....its natural, you certainly wont blame others for such instant reaction.
As far as this question of yours, I think some of us are eligible to use this platform for "Making others to feel Offensive".....People are apt to react....and sometime we provide ample fuel to their reaction....like you did in first question. As you suggested, I checked your other questions (and your score too...which is really commendable) and entire bunch of your questions are based on "Religion"....which is very delicate topic for everybody.
Well.....since you meant nothing offensive...I think its better for you too not to get offended by those answers....Thanks.

For me, I didn't see your second question. I think it's an interesting one. I think a lot of people look for questions where they can show the depth of their belief by slamming on those who "attack" them, becoming Internet martyrs for their cause. This works both ways, but it seems that it just comes down to a lot of knee-jerk reaction. I hope my answer to your question wasn't offensive. I thought what you did was actually kind of clever.

We live in a reactionary society... you will see the similar thing in the media as well. People would rather not think about things unless they are offended by them... and even then, there usually isn't a whole lot of thinking going on.

I'll answer your questions:
1. Jesus the Christ was born of a woman. Yes, he would be Homo Sapien. He did not stop being God because He took on flesh, though.
2. Christianity calls us to be 'like Christ,' and because He is God we are called to worship Him. His own preference? I don't know the mind of God. Let's just ask Him when we meet Him.

It means that many people answering questions in this category are not interested in having genuine dialogue, only inflaming and/or evangelizing.
Simple!

It needs to be something to catch them. Something that effects their beliefs that they can state their opinion. People like to argue and feel important.
