Yes, I used to be a Catholic.Fortunately,Jehovah drew me to him(John6:44),and I had the wonderful experience of finally learning bible truths using the Knowledge Book.I have not looked back.I have been baptised for eight years, and know that I have found the truth.
If you are considering studying with Jehovahs Witnesses,I would suggest you not let any of these negative and inaccurate answers to your question steer you away from learning about our wonderful Creator

The current publication "What Does the Bible Really Teach" replaced the twelve-year old earlier publication "Knowledge That Leads to Everlasting Life". You can see the book's cover and request a copy at no charge here:

The nicknamed "Bible Teach" book was released only two years ago, but already has tens of millions of copies in print. A few of the other publications of Jehovah's Witnesses, and an archive of interesting bible topics are shown here:

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and I can say that we are NOT a cult. Has anyone ever heard of members of a cult knocking on people's doors and talking about God, his son Jesus, and his Word, the Bible? That's obsurd! We try to learn what the Bible really teaches and live by it's teachings. Jesus commissioned his followers to go make disciples and teach the good news of God's kingdom (Matthew 28:19,20). That is why we go out and preach, in obedience to this commandment. And anyone who reads the Bible knows that Jesus taught his apostles how to carry out the ministry, knocking on doors and teaching in public places. Please don't listen to the nonsense of the really long answer above mine. This person is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses and does not know what he is talking about. Don't let total strangers influence your decision. If you have questions, Jehovah's Witnesses have answers from the Bible, not our own. Please keep studying and learning about the true God, Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18)
By the way, we do not believe in hell. It is not a Biblical teaching.

My folks have been studying with Jehovah Witnesses once a week for several months. Each week they think it will be the last time they (the JW) will come because the folks have Biblical answers as to why they believe differently than the JW. But they still come & I believe they both find the exchange to be interesting.

Yes I did study with them. My sister became a Christian and it became a tug of war between them and my sister. They were at my house one time when we were studying together. My sister showed up with her preacher and we all sat down and "had it out in the Word". It was quite interesting. They were beat down in the Word and acted and looked quite foolish. Needless to say, the truth prevailed. I'm now a Christian, thank God not a JW.

You quoted what Bro Lett said and that i quote: in certain, that's with the aid of shown actuality that we are exciting Jehovah. also, we are pleasant our duty to undergo witness to others, thereby proving that devil the devil is a liar. precisely actual!!! anytime we commence getting intense-minded we are able to judge in this scripture too; that is Jesus talking: Luke 19:40 besides the undeniable fact that in reply he said: "I allow you to recognize, if those remained silent, the stones could cry out." that is how maximum major it truly is for us to evangelise the "best information of God's Kingdom" quickly to be acceptable the following on earth.

Stay away from them. I am not some Christian fanatic, but these heretic cults usually have fundamentalist and irrational ideas (like not allowing blood transfusion even if you're dying, etc).

I think they need to find the love of Christ by genuinely seeking God with a sincere conscience ant not always look for ways of justifying their doctines .
that way, they will find Jesus as the true son of God and have forgiveness for their sins and have peace with God and in their heart.
