If they knew then what they know now...I think the Indians would have killed each and everyone of them coming onto their land. Raped,Pillaged and Be Headed all the men and stuck them on poles along the shores so other ships thinking of docking here could see and smell their rotting flesh.

You know. People like you make me laugh. It's obvious you have no knowledge of history. For centuries people have fought, taken land, raped, destroyed entire villages for the sake of their country. If it happened today, of course it wouldn't be the same. We'd just drop bombs on their villages and wipe them out faster. **** happens. However, now we're in a time with established countries and everyone had to respect the laws in their country. Otherwise, we'd be no better off than the people centuries ago. Although I wish the world leaders of today had balls like they did hundreds of years ago.

If it happened today, with the apparent mindset of current Europeans, they wouldn't come. Asians would be too busy trading with the Europeans. Africans would be too busy killing each other.

If the native americans had banded to one nation and stopped inter-tribal warfare, had somehow become industrialized on their own, they may be going to Europe to rape, kill and pillage.

I suggest you worry more about Islamo Fascists coming to America to kill, rape and pillage. The past is the past and we can't change it.

For example, my family's land in Ireland was taken from them by England in the 1500's. Before that, the Romans, Vikings and others killed, raped and pillaged our homeland and took everything we had. Should we get it back now?

I wouldn't personally do all those things, but it would still be the same. The immigrants were oppressed, and looking for their own life, property and values, then you throw in their fear of what they did not know about the native americans, and you have the killings and violene.

It would be so much bigger these days with all the technology we have! We would probly end up destroying the land along with the indians and make it radioactive or something for a million years...

I'd take thier land and put them on reserves in the mid-west. I wouldn't rape or kill them. I probably would take thier corn but I would be friendly about it. I would probably let them run casinos and make millions of dollars a year to feed their opium addictions. I would be fair about it.

I would like to think that we are more civilized than we were in the 17th/18th/19th centuries. However, Gitmo is starting to making me think that perhaps we are not. I really can't come up with a logical answer to your question.

I would rape, kill, pillage. I would make and break treaties. I'll tell you another thing, I'd do all this with no appearance of righteousness either, and no remorse.

Without having the past to learn from, It would probably still happen the same way.
