Has anybody seen one lately?
I haven't had one knocking on my door for years now. I'm living in a new place since I was last called on so I can't be in the black book. I miss their little visits because I used to love winding them up. Have they finally got the message that nobody is interested?

It may be that the questioner is in a gated community or secure apartment building, or perhaps has a "No Tresspassing" sign. More likely, however, his work and at-home schedule simply haven't coincided with the times his territory has been worked by the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses are just as active as ever in their house-to-house ministry, in obedience to their Lord Jesus Christ. Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Jehovahs Witnesses go to talk to people about our wonderful God and His heavenly kingdom out of love and obedience to their creator.
Dont be fooled into thinking you wind them up.We love what we do and we have the advantage of a clear and accurate understanding of the Holy Scriptures.Jesus warned his disciples that they would be hated. So we expect ridicule and opposition. It comes as no surprise.
As one of Jehovahs Witnesses I can safely say that the preaching of the good news about God's Kingdom will continue until our Heavenly Father instructs us to stop.Only then, will multitudes regret not listening,as it will be too late and just as the days of Noah, they will be "swept away"......

I don;t know but Jehovahs Witnesses are some of the nicest people you can meet.

Don;t know the ins and outs of the faith and they do provide a lesson in how to be nice to your fellow man (or woman).

Let them come to my door, ( I work saturdays)

Yes I had the pleasure of keeping one chatting for over an hour about everything except God and religion a couple of weeks ago. He went away most enlightened.

They are all living in the North GA area. I have them coming to my door and calling me to read me scriptures at least once every couple of months.

But, just wait, they will be back. When you least expect it...

Maybe you aren't home when they call on you. You should try listening next time with an open heart, you might learn something truthful and comforting.
