That's what religion concerns itself with.
Life, construction and good works are the products of secular society.

Most Christians who deal with these subjects, especially our fundamentalist brother and sisters, see these realities as the mission of Christ. In other words, to warn the world and remind us all of our sinfulness. This is a good thing, but it is only a small portion of doing the work of Christ and proclaiming the Gospel.
However, going about it with a CONSTANT "fire and brimstone" tirade is tiring. Some do not know that this makes the life of faith unattractive to the hearer whom they evagelize to. They focus so much on this that they do not see they are saddening the spirit of the people they desire to save. They forget that they are to offer the Gospel news. The word Gospel (its original Greek Evangelion) means "Good" news. If they only rant and rave about evil, destruction, sin, and death....then what hope do they offer really? They shout the name of Jesus constantly, but do their conduct and speech show that even they have a happiness and joy in living with Christ? Most do not think so. All they hear is the force and anger.
A true Christian, mature in the faith, would BE and preach the joy of living in Christ.
I am reminded of a letter about St. Dominic (whom we celebrate in the Catholic Church today), it is stated, "Wherever he went he showed himself in word and deed to be a man of the Gospel...And since a joyful heart animates the face, he displayed the peaceful composure of a spiritual man in the KINDNESS he manifested outwardly and by the CHEERFULNESS of his countenance." That is the sign of one who is mature in the faith they preach. The person is radiant and attractive as well as the Gospel truth they preach in the spirit of God.
May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.
God's and your beast of burden

The same reason firefighters talk about fire.. To fight against any evil it is necessary to understand that evil. Secular people go thur life with blinders on. They don't want to know that the raft they are on is nearing a massive waterfall.. Jim

I would guess that it is just in human nature to ask about the not so glorified things. It's not the beauty people want to talk about, it's the ugliness in life...the stuff that holds an interest.

Satan has no reason to go after those who are already his. It is natural and logical that he comes amongst the children of God to deceive them into following him.
Just remember Jesus has already defeated satan. Although satan is temporily in charge of this world ....GOD IS IN CONTROL. Amen and amen.
