As many times as I've read that verse after you posted it, it never has made me feel that it could be describing a threesome before, like it did this time. Read it again and think about it. Sounds like it to me. LOL

each and every team has its extremists. The KKK and Nazis have roots in Christianity, as solid. Christians who comprehend the recent testomony be conscious of that Jesus replaced into as quickly as in direction of capital punishment. in case you ever stumble upon a specialist-death penalty Christian, ingredient them to the subsequent passages: - Matthew 5:7 - Matthew 5:38-39 - James 4:12 - Luke 6:36-37 - Romans 12:17-21 - a million Thessalonians 5:15 - a million Peter 3:8-11 - John 8:7 there are assorted, many sensible problems with capital punishment (that I won't get into right here), even nevertheless in hassle-free terms from a ethical viewpoint, it somewhat is beautiful sparkling that Jesus did no longer help it. unquestionably CHRISTians shouldn’t, the two. positive question, in spite of the undeniable fact that - agencies like this must be made known to the final public. this would be one in all those circumstances the place sunlight hours is the oftentimes happening disinfectant.

It is my opinion that the Bible is a collection of stories. These stories were meant to teach societies morals and protect it's peoples from things that they thought were morally, emotionally, or physically dangerous. As time progresses, and authors change, and the old society interacts with new societies and cultures, what is acceptable changes. In Moses' time, slavery was considered acceptable and the enslavement of the Jews only became intolerable for him when he found out his birth family was Jewish. To me this story only demonstrates the hypocrisy of even great and respected people. Humanity is full of hypocrisy, why wouldn't a book written by men also reflect this? Wouldn't it be even more hypocritical if we just took those parts out that made our religious leaders seem so? In Jesus' time the writers of the New Testament had quite a bit of contact with the Romans, who didn't have quite such a taboo on the homosexuality issue also. Just an example of societies norms changing because of exposure to new societies. All the wages of sin became a moot point though when Christ died to pay for them. The only thing we could do is try to love one another as He loves us. But again, only my opinion.

If there is anyone out there that believes for one second that the Bible is at all relevant to life today, they should read Leviticus 20:9, "Any child who curses his mother or his father shall be put to death." You take one scripture literally than you must take them all literally. It cracks me up at these religious fanatics who condemn women's rights to choice by saying that only God can take a life while in the next breath support the death penalty. Well either it is or it isn't you can't have it both ways. God created all of us and He does not make mistakes.

Well Jim Darwin, could it be because homosexuality leads to death any way you cut it? It is a dead-end street.
If overnight the entire population of the world became homosexual, how long would the Race of Man exist, even without the aid of (no pun intended) AIDS?
You have the use of reason, what do you think?

Where is it that you see God changing his mind? They are detestable in Leviticus and sinning, death to them. This is before Christ comes, so at this point, death is a perm. state for the time periods knowledge.
They are given over to their sinful desire in Romans, exchanging God for a lie. Remember, death is no longer a perm. state for the human race and now they know this, by Christs blood we may inheritt eternal life with Christ, if we do not accept Christ, the option is eternal life in hell.
Same thing in Corithians, they, listed in the text, neither being not any on the preceeding list, are being told not to be decived or don't fool yourself, that they (the wicked) will not inherit the kingdom of God.
So, since you eternally spend your time one of two places, dammed to hell, or in the Kingdom of God, death is no longer an option, as it is not a perm. state.
Leviticus 20
13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Romans 1
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
1 Corithians
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I don't agree with that. Personally I think the second is a bunch of ****. God doesn't agree with homosexuality. I'm not trying to say I'm some goody two shoes that will automatically get in heaven or anything, but I just don't agree with homosexuality.

The difference is Jesus Christ ,The Son of God ,became sin for everyman women and child He came to pay the price for ALL sin. and by believing in Him His death on the cross and Him raising from grave victorious over every sin , Everyone has the chance to live in that amazing act of the love of God. Regardless of sin and the penalty due to that paticular sin ....God hates sin and loves the sinner and the reason He hates sin is purely because it separates us from knowing Him

Jesus revokes any glimmer of a death penalty in the SOM.
Christian support of 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' is hypocrisy.

God hasn't changed on the issue He gave us Christ for the remission of our sin, all of them. He also has given us time to repent. If you don't use the time given to repent trust me God will execute the sentence.. Jim
