Muslims ,even educated one happily take the risk to marry first cousin negating all medical research.The Muslim follow the foot-step of Mohamod who married his first cousin (Zaineb)and his daughter Fatima to Ali.Why west should not ban this risky business to their Muslim Citizens .

I West Virginia I think 75% of the population is married to a cousin (or a sibling).

Muslims does not allow to marry first cousin if both fathers are brothers.
In the case of Muhammad,Zainab was his first cousin but not in a strict sense,her father was an outsider;even Zainab's mother was half sister to Mohammad's father.i.e they have different mothers.
and for Fatima-Ali was not her first cousin but an uncle. Ali was first cousin to Muhammad instead.
