Is it enough to treat ear infection by Azithromycin 250 MG while unbelievable pain and ear look bigger?

I had pain around my head too. there is few liquid come out from my ear light yellow like light wax
I took 2 tablets then 1 each day this is my 4th day now still one tablet remaining .I can not explain the pain.

It does not sound like it is enough! If you have been on the Zithromax for four days and you are still having this pain-you need to go back to the DR and get reevauluated. If you are having severe pain-you need to be seen RIGHT AWAY. No one should have to sit in pain.

Zithromax is good for chest infections-but not that great for ear infections. I am wondering why your DR gave this to you for an ear infection???

If your DR shrugs your off your pain/concerns-FIND ANOTHER DR.

Also, I can't remember the name of it-they have a solution that you can put in your ear and numb the pain. Although you can NOT use this if your ear drum has burst or if you have tubes in your ears. This stuff is great-it really helps with the pain!

Go BACK to the DR-ER if you must, get on a BETTER antibiotic, and get that stuff that numbs your ears.
