We are wondering which is quicker, sponsorship or immigration. My hubby applied for immigration before we got married, but now I am wanting to go home. So, we are wondering if we should cancel immigration, and go with sponsorship. We need advice, or need to know a reputable place to go for advice. Thanks.

you should contact a good immigration lawyer for the answer. I live in Canada and came in by sponsorship by my husband.

You need to provide financial data to sponsor someone to come to Canada and sign that you will support them in this country for ten years. Without a job in Canada (and you may want to talk to immigation lawyers about this), sponsorship (as in you sponsoring him) is not an option.

As far as time, it took me a little more than a year from the time we applied until I got resident status.

Sponsorship. Your husband's immigration process might get a boost now that he's married to you.
