I want to hold a rally. What should we do about the child support laws that are hurting more men than it is helping more woman?

Welcome to the world of the NCPs, where you are continually viewed as "bad", "evil", or simply put, a "cash cow." If you rally, you will be labelled a "deadbeat", no matter what happens.
Basically, what I would do is start writing letters to congressmen and editors. Hitch them to a particular event (i.e. Child Support Enforcement putting out a press release about how much back support they've collected), rather than writing them each and every week.
Points to cover:
1. Ask publically how much of that "arrerage" is in the form of an imputed income, or what the judges think you should be earning?
2. Ask if the CSE has done anything in helping the father's who want to pay, but who have fallen on hard times? Don't accept the answer "we only go after those people who have the ability to pay but choose not to." Press them for specific programs they use.
3. Use personal stories. It's hard to label some guy a deadbeat if he's holding up a check for $20 for a 120 hour pay peroid because of the garnishments. Encourage NCP's to record their conversations with CSE's especially the ones in which they've been belittled or harassed.

What should you do? How about supporting your children?
