Even you have questions that you can't answer adequately...Why do I exist? or Why am I here? Why not dump those types of questions into the God (if there is one) box? So far as signs go they've all got scientific explanations that would come out if investigated...Christians were taught that questioning matters of faith is a sin (resulting in holding humanities progress back for 700 years+) and we act on investigation/proof--scientific method. 2) Their belief system hinders if not removes them completely from critical thinking.
3) God is the easiest "answer" for them to understand.
4) There is a subconscious need to find God in everything so they can feel protected at all times.
