Speak from your heart.........God listens and hear's you. It's perfectly ok to talk with God for as long as you need to. Perhaps you'll feel closer to God by asking him into your heart and into your life.

My original answer to your question could have been "you may need to stop talking to much to HIM, so you can hear HIM too", although someone beet me to the punch, though, I have another one, though this is also a question, because I know God listen and if you have talk to HIM once before, he always listen, if we aren't willing to forget HIM, a/o do something that can and will offend HIM. But, have you lost your trust in Humanity?, or in someone else related too Humanity?, maybe that Can be the reason why he isn't listening to you as good and as HIM use too?????,
In which case you wil need to work your way back to HIM, alone and in private, in your own room, just by becoming a real child of god once again?, and let HIM, talk to you first, just go on and pray, don't ask for anything, not even to be hear by HIM, once more, any longer. Just think what? and why? was the last time you didn't hear HIM, went he said don't do it?.> Listen he will hear you I am sure of it> God bless you in Jesus name amen.

If you feel you are having a one way conversation, you just may be. We talk to God by praying. He speaks to us through His Word. If you are not saturating yourself in the Word then you are having a one way conversation. Pray and read your Bible. Stop trying and allow the Holy Spirit to intercede. Romans 8:26-27, Ephesians 2:18. Unconfessed sin causes fellowship with God to be broken, Isaiah 59:1-2. Psalm 51:1-2, 10, 12. Ask God to show you any unconfessed sin in your life. Do you have a church home?? This type of fellowship will help you also.

Pray, pray and pray. God is listening. Maybe you don't feel the connection because you feel guilty or something. If that is it, then ask for forgiveness. Sin can sometimes come between men and God. Pour out to Him, tell Him you want to be forgiven and feel close to Him again. Just tell Him and trust Him.

If your heart is really searching for God, you will find him. You must believe and have faith. Expect the impossible! Ask and believe and you will receive! Have you asked him in prayer to hear you and have you asked him to help you know him better? Have you told him from the depths of your soul that you want to feel his presence? After you ask, sit back and listen for him. Have faith and you will receive.

He can hear you. Ask Him to come into your heart ...to give you the Holy Spirit, then you will feel His presence more. Ask for forgiveness. He will forgive you. Be sincere and ask and ye shall receive.

It is good for me to draw near to God. Psalm 73:28
When we bend our knees to pray, God bends His ear to listen.
God accepts anyone who accepts His Son.
God bless.
