God teaches us in the Law that we are not able to keep it.
Those that know the truth and do not lighten the Law see it for what it is and fall to their knees crying out to Jesus to forgive them.
The blind see the law and say, "I have kept the law"....or
Matthew 19:20 (NKJV)
The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. ..."
They do not see that the Law was sent to kill us.
God made a promise to Abraham. The law was added 430 years later...Why? It was added because people were living wickedly and they thought they could sin all they wanted to and God would still be pleased with them. The law was added to shut their mouths and make them fall to their knees crying out for a Savior.
Galatians 3:16-19 (NKJV)
Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. [17] And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. [18] For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
[19] What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.

I don't know how anyone can derive just love out of that without also deriving hatred and intolerance. If we listened to the bible and really took it literally, there could be justification to own slaves, sell your daughters into slavery, make women where veils or shave their heads, sacrifice animals, kill your own children, give suspected homosexuals and fornicators the death penalty, and so on and so on.
anyone who tries to deny what I have stated has no clue what their own book says very plainly and clearly, you can't take bits and peices out of the OT that you like and disregard the rest that offends our modern sensibilities as the "old covenant".
People who follow this book like it's the law need a more objective eye for details and common sense.
But I have to say I thank God that they don't go by it literally or else what I stated above would be how christians act out......

Not sure what you are asking. He teaches that His laws are to be kept by his followers, but we are to respect and keep the laws of the land when it isn't in conflict with His law. His laws are in the ten commandments and to love your neighbor as yourself, etc.
