I will answer your question with a question. How many people have seen a mother or father say to their child You make me so angry? Is it really the child themselves making them angry or is the action of the child? Do they stop loving their child because they became angry? Working my way backward, No they don't stop loving their child. They, if they are good parents would protect that child and provide for it no matter what. The actions of the child is making them angry, not the child. The child has never changed, it is the same one they loved before they became angry. So this makes the first question void, You make me so angry. This is the way it should be with Christians, as Jesus taught us through the Scriptures. Love your neighbor as yourself. Take a look at the Good Samaritan. You love the creation but not the sin. They are not one and the same.
