been there, done that. just friends? it's crap, unless you aren't looking for anything serious like he does.

he's very attentive, calls you all the time to let you know what he's doing and to check up on you and all...he's nice, alright! but, no commitment, huh?

cuddles and kisses you...sweet! stopped when you said no...gentleman!

but, dear, it will all go away. keep saying no (but if the kisses are good, have at them!)...he will realize that he won't be getting any from you. then maybe he will ask you to be more than just friends (maybe bf/gf). keep saying no for as long as you can (is 3 months minimum, ok?).

if he sticks around for that long, then you got yourself a good guy. if not, it only proves that he only wanted to hit the sack with you.

also, while he hasn't asked you to be more than friends...keep in mind that you are, in fact, single. go out and meet other guys! don't focus on this guy too much.

Men will do whatever it takes to have sex with no strings attached. After he gets tired of it, he'll disappear. That's not a friend. That would you getting used. Don't fall for it. A real gentleman would not need nor want a "friend with benefits". And it will never be more than that - no man will buy the cow after he's already gotten the milk for free. Never. Remember that. Never.

Hello Sexy_Ma,

It sounds like he treats you pretty good. If he didn't like you, then he wouldn't be calling you all of the time (or at least when he can). As far as him wanting some, well, he is a guy after-all. We all want a little. And, yet he's still very respectful of you. It sounds to me like you got yourself a really nice guy.

Traditionally girls ditch the nice guys and try to find some bad boy types to knock boots with. Pretty soon this guy will get frustrated with you and will look somewhere else for a girl friend.

Have fun with him while you can.

Until you are sure you want to be more than friends, don't give it up. That friends with benefits thing never works.

I have a lot of "friends" that I don't even cuddle with, much less make out with. If you guys are truly friends you wouldn't be messing around, so you are trying to get him to want more, without messing up the friendship. If he is understanding like you say, then he will understand that until you guys are more than friends for awhile he isn't getting any.

Don't try to make things something they are not. If he is afraid of commitment then let him figure it out on his own time. Did he say why he only wants to be friends? Either way I would not have sex with him. It's either friends or relationship. He could be a great guy or he could be using you. Don't take the chance. Don't waste time on trying to figure him out, there are allot of other fish in the sea that will not play games with you.

Friends w/ benefits is one of the greatest relationships one can have in life. The more time you spend w/ him the more he will get to know you and then you may be able to become more than friends. But for the time being, just enjoy the free sex w/ no strings attached!

Mr. Chivalry says, "Don't rush if you're not ready. A true gentleman will respect his lady's wishes."

Mr. Chivalry has spoken.

honey, friends don't screw. simple as that. try this next time you are with someone ,tell him right off that you want to remain celibate until marriage. even if it's not true, you will find out a mans true character with that statement and his reaction. try it.

make him wait as long as you want until you think that he's serious about wanting to start a relationship with you
