If you are nervous about telling everyone, take it one step at a time. When you think of the least judgemental, most supportive person in your life, who is it? Approach that person first. It will ease some of your tension about keeping this secret, and you will be telling someone who you know is behind you 100%. It will make it easier to tell the rest of the people in your life, once you know you have someone to lean on for support.

You get them (one on one) in a relaxed and private atmosphere and you say: "I am gay!" Start with your friends first...as each time you say it, you will build your confidence level in your affirmation...then move on to your family!!! Good luck and be strong...and PREPARE your mind...remember...the FIRST thing out of their mouth will be the "effect" of your statement so do not let it hurt you too much... (cause/effect rule) after they have had a "cooling" off period (or a deep breath!) then you will hear truth...help them work through it and I am sure they will be supportive of you....I mean....they must have some sort of clue....
