This is a little tricky as i think judging by your question you are probably still at school where it can be easy to be judged by your peers and there are alot of eyes on your every move, but not to be too depressing you should try to spend some time with him and just talk to him about normal things..........stuff that you can both relate to and things will fall into place after that.
