Acts 1:8 "....and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Matt. 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

You see, it is because God has commanded, or commissioned us as believers to do that...not "take over", Jesus Christ WILL do that, but we are to share the good news that Jesus died for the whole world, that none should perish.

I like to explain it this way...think about this. If I had the perfect proven cure for every form of cancer, and it was unlimited and free. How persistant would I be? Would I be over bearing when it comes to those stubbern cancer patient that do not want to die of cancer but think my cure won't work, because it isn't what they grew up being taught by their parents was the way to cure cancer? I would try with all my might to get the people I know and love to take the cure. Because whether you believe it or not cancer kills if it goes untreated. No matter how much you believe your way will work...if it is not the cure, you will die.

The cure for Hell is Jesus. No matter how much you do not believe it...He is. So that is why I am so persistant. No I do not want to "take over" the world, but I do not want the world to die and go to Hell to burn forever, and niether did God, and that is why he sacrificed his sinless Son on the cross, was to pay for mine, and yours, and the whole worlds sins. And if I ever get angry at people who become ugly about Christianity or the Bible, it is because I am human...not because Christianity is wrong, I get angry or sad or defensive because ther are souls of lost people on the line...and Satan is on the prowl seeking whom he may devour...(see Job) and I do not like that! Jesus loves each and every one of the sceptics, atheists, agnostics, homosexuals, murderers,idolators, child molesters, theives, etc....He actually loves them so much that he died a really terrible death so that they would not have to suffer the pinishment for their sins. Now that is something to want to tell people about!

Romans 14:11" As it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and ever tongue shall confess to God."

Do it now and live, or do it later and live an eternity in Hell. The choice is yours...but I hope Christians are really trying to persuade unbelievers to do it now, for ther is just way to much at stake to leave them ill informed.

As a christian I would love the world " to do unto others as they would do unto you."
I would love all the different faiths to get along because most faiths teach tolerance and peacefull existence. sadly the world has been corrupted by man's sin.
So too the philosophy of the USA. "In God we trust" does not mean we are the arm of the Lord and can dish out justice in His name. As an Aussie this is what appears to be the mind set of the Bush administration.
We should all remember "vengeance is mine said the Lord." and leave it to Him.
I want the world to "love thy neighbour" and so we would have no conflict in Lebanon, and in other countries around the world.
Peace in our time will come when the Lord Jesus returns.

This sounds like you are afraid of the truth being spread into like "Muslim" countries? Oh, my, I guess it isn't good enough to just go and blow yourself up and terrorize everyone, isn't your country enough, why do you come to America and try to blow up buildings and such., and try to force your religion on the world. I think most of christians do not want to take over the world.But as far as I know,now the government of USA wants to be a world leader as a super power they want to be a police world.,They want all other countries in this world bowed to what they want us to be.This attitude come out as an evidence that they are conceited,puffed up and swollen. But Allah our God Almighty hates this conceit attitude.They are boasting theirselves as only one super power in this world.Supported or unsupported by other country,their wish will be realized because our UNO is lame.Uno is influenced by USA and USA as a permanent member of the security council has a veto.I think this veto right should be abolished and all decisions of the security council should be based on the majority.Veto right is unfair.The world destiny is decided only by some countries which have. a veto.The people of USA I convince in majority,do not want war they want peace in this world.They love the people of other countries whatever their religion and their race.We love the people of USA but we as muslims hate the government of USA
