You might be grinding your teeth at night. Have your dentist check you for TMJ or grinding.

If in fact you find out that you have been grinding your teeth, it is best to reduce the stress or cause than try to use the mouth guard.

I am much advanced in age and have a worn, weakened tooth #7 and #10 because orf this. Life is too short to be unhappy!!

Bite lightly on a pencil or popsicle stick (Sounds crazy i know) if you can make it hurt by biting down on it directly, you may have a cracked tooth or a messed up ligament, both could be irritated if you clench or grind at night. Either way I would see the dentist and get his opinion.

Your probable grinding your teeth...and thats the tooth that takes all the pressure.... The dentist can give you a mouth guard to help but it wasnt easy for me to sleep with it. Try relaxing...Have you been under alot of stress lately??

you are probably grinding on it. See a dentist for a night guard before you damage the root soooo badly that you loose it. And wear that guard every EVERY night

I don't, sorry, but you should see your dentist to make sure there's nothing wrong with the root. Take care of your teeth, you only have one set

You probably grind your teeth...i used to do it, i grew out of it though...you could, too, but if not it could really start to affect your teeth. talk to your dentist or your orthodontist.
