Well, it is easier said than done. But the fact that you realise you need something to cool you down is itself commendable. Meditation is an act which can be practised even when one is busy doing one's day-to-day livelihood chores. At the end of a day's hectic work, if one can find a few minutes to reflect back and ask 'what have I achieved today?' That should help one to rejuvenate one's mind. By the way, lack of spirituality in the true sense of the term need not restrict one's overall growth. Spirituality can take different forms to suit different contexts.

I wish I had total control of my mind too. Especially, when I'm at the dentist. Manage me my body not to have a tootache during the curing, please!!!
Sleep much! Don't dream about your work! Try to get more freetime. Do yoga, go in for different sports! Or move to China and you will have possibility to relax and meditate. Sorry I really can' t advise you any smart solution. Unfortunately we are living in such a crazy sweeping world.

What people do not seem to realize is that God is watching over our mind, body, & soul! God has complete control over everything about us we do not! God allows us to make dicisions on what we should & should not do with our life.If they are wrong dicisions then he will let us know in some way! If we want to believe and have true faith in him we will listen and also follow his commands! From what I am understanding about your question is that God, is giving and also showing you a sign! If you honestly believe in God, and you are truly wanting to be more enlightend with your spirtuality, & mind, then you should slow your pace down a bit and begin to enhance the enlightenment, that God,has already been giving you! Don't try to over-power God's work! When he shows & gives you signs, then you should pay attention to them!!!!
Good Luck,
And
God Bless,

You should read an inspiring book such as 'Paris Talks' of Abdul-Baha. After that you may have interest to read other Holy Books which lead you to the spiritual journey without worrying about your job, your time or your environment.
Pray for your success.

You don't need much time to meditate and get in touch with your inner you...
5-10 minutes before I go to sleep I meditate about wehre I am, where am I going, what am I doing to get there, and thanking that spiritual force that keeps me going (wether it's called God, Buddha, or whatever).
I'm just talking about 10 minutes before your sleep, wether you go to sleep at 8 p.m. or at 3 a.m.

Depends what you actually want to do. I would say being educated is the best way you can be 'enlightened' if you researched science, politics, religion etc and you can come to your own conclusion as well as being able to look at other peoples opinions then you will truely be enlightened.

Find 5 minutes here and there to TAKE A BREATH and really feel it move in and out of your body. You'll find that you'll feel better. You'll never have "total control" of your mind...You will be able to calm it and mediate it's comings and goings but never totally control it. Do your best to find that 5 minutes here and there you'll be surprised at how calm you'll be. PEACE!
