I'm 23 years old and have two children. I'm 5'5" and weight about 220 lb. Need to know how many calories do I need to eat a day to loss weight. My goal is to loss 60lb.

Well, it differs, but a safe bet is to go about 1600 to 1700 calories a day. LOTS of fruits and veggies (the fresher the better, as canned has a lot of salt added), eat only whole grains (no refined flour; it acts like sugar in your bloodstream, which too much of it makes you fat), and make water your new best friend. But it's okay to treat yourself once in a while. just make it a small treat and adjust your calorie intake to make room for it, so you don't feel deprived (and therefore more likely to cheat). I like Haagen Daaz Mango sorbet...has the same texture as ice cream, so it doesn't feel like I'm missing something, still feels like a treat. Has a ton of sugar in it, so I only eat a little bit, not even a quarter cup, but it's so good, it leaves me satisfied anyway.
