If there is something, they are not likely the spirits of dead people. They may be demonic hallucinations.
The Bible is unclear on this however.

Absolutely they are.
I was very very close to my grandfather.
I always said that I saw my dead grandfather when I was 3 he died a few weeks before my 4th birthday and when I was 18. I explained to my mum in great detail what my grandfather was buried in from head to toe and that is the sort of information you never tell a 3/4 yr old. And it was something we never spoke about while I was growing up.
As the years have gone on and as I have grown up, I have moved out of my home and have lived with my wife for the past 5 years. I still get the strange aroma of his aftershave (Which I know it is not me coz I don't use the same aftershave) and the smell of tabacco (neither my wife or I smoke, plus of all it is at times when we know we haven't been around anyone else that smokes).
There are a lot more unexplainable things I could tell you but it would take up to much time and too much room.
But there are definitely ghosts. I am convinced.

The answer is yes... trust me its yes... it has not been a proven fact... I dont care what you beliefs are THERE ARE GHOSTS... now I could be lying but how do you explain this...
My mom and both sises have seen a white tail like a cats tail... they never said anything but one day when they were talking... all there heads jerked at the same time as they saw a white tailed cat run by... they all ask "Did you see that?" Now you can tell me that its just there imagination, that I am lying, but that does not change the fact that there are ghosts aren't just a children's stories... and are real supernatural creators...

Why are you posting this in the Civic Participation section? Do you have a ghost who wants to run for office. The Ghost Who Walks maybe. Can't say they would do worse then the current crop.

Hi, i think they are , even though ive never seen one, but i have felt a prescence. Ive seen people not believe in ghost then have an experiance where they have seen one or felt something. If you dont believe in ghost one day you may see one or feel a prescence. I think its always best to keep an open mind on things to do with the paranormal.

no they are ghosts so they wont be real?
I saw the ghost of my boyfriends mam when she died and it was just like a really bright light floating in the air and was only visable for a split second, it was hovering over my boyfriend i was not at all frightend by this though.

I dont think of ghost as in apparitions of a dead person,of something that looks in a certain way or anything.To me ghosts are concentrated masses of energy.I cant say more really,i've never seen one but i felt many,its not a feeling that i particulary enjoy really.Who knows?I'm open to anything that would present enough proof to its existance :)

that's a brilliant question i very much like the dark and Ive never seen one single ghost and Ive never seen anything weird at houses that people said were haunted
