I believe in total faithfulness when a person is in a relationship - if you want to act like you're single, then do your other half a favour and become single BEFORE you take on another lover. It's the most hurtful thing in the world to be cheated on!

The best person to ask is your present partner. And if that sounds like a bad idea to you, then you've got your answer. Mind you, she may think it's a good idea if she had a part time lover while you're gone. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Don't waste your time. What if your partner decided to surprise you one day with a visit? It isn't worth it. If you are lonely, get your partner to move there with you or change jobs.
