1. i think it was poorly done, to be honest.
i didn't support the invasion of iraq to be honest, i didn't think it was necessary at the time, even to ensure oil supplies or protect us from the fabled wmds.
that said, when we did invade, since bush thought it was right, he shouldn't put in the required effort to do so. if we were going to war, we should have provided more troops for the peacekeeping effort, and more money. a well done invasion and peacekeeping effort would have saved us some money in the long run. bush underestimated iraq. this was a major problem. now that we are there, i say finish what we started and give iraq a fighting chance so that the political vacume isn't again filled by a dictator. if we pull out and it is, then we really haven't accomplished anything.
we should put in the same effort we put into japan at the end of world war 2.
2. no, we still have some things to clean up, i don't think we can leave until we are absolutely certain that iraq will remain a democracy.
3. well, yes. i do. i want one that is straightforward and honest. i want our president to say, "well, we're helping people around the world get democracy, and that's what we plan to faithfully do". or " we're ensuring our supply of oil" or anything that's TRUE.
i don't want anymore "iraq is a threat because i think the may have wmds".
i ****** HATE scare tactics. i want to be leveled with, i want to be treated like the intelligent person i am.
to be honest though, i wish we would mind our own damn business more, and help out only those who really are in need, who are being killed for no reason. and we need to cooperate with the global community. even though we can kick europe's @ss in a heartbeat, they still deserve our respect.

You are not on God's side. You are on Christ's side. From what I have seen I would say that we have not done a good job of setting up the Iraqi military or their police force. If we had we could pull out now. I think the right time to pull out is when the Iraqi govt. asks us to leave, which they haven't. If we pull out now, more lives will be lost in senseless violence. I was against the war as I was suspect of their intelligence even then. Yes, I desire a new American foreign policy, and I do vote. Good Question.

Complex foreign policy issue(s) here. We shouldn't have gone in there in the first place as we have been manipulated by Iran into doing just that. They have us so strung out with Afghanistan and Iraq that we really can't address where the REAL NUKE threat is. Of course Israel's soldiers will turn up there and they'll be compelled to act accordingly and take care of yet another ME problem for us.
I believe we should have pulled out of Iraq immediately after topling Sadam because the country would deteriorate into Civil war and the Muslim factions would fight amonst themselves. Since most Iraquis detest Iranians I don't see the threat of Iran just marching in there to take over the country as many here see. In fact I see the strife we'd leave in Iraq as perhaps spreading into Iran and that'd be a good thing...
American foreign policy is to POLICE the world...that's got to stop...Most if not all countries are all grown up now and they can fend for themselves. Now I am not saying we should go back to isolationism...I am saying that we should stop trying to get everyone to be democratic or believe as we do...there are folks that simply don't understand our system and never will (Arabic tribes...TRIBAL government(s)). PEACE!

Peace but not apeasment.
It will be at least 10 years before we can judge the Iraqi results.
I want our people home, but we can't leave Iraq in a mess.
I don't like Bush, but even if I knew then what I know now, I still would not have voted for Gore or Kerry.
We can't appease the radical Islamic movement, they won't stop attacking us. As bad as Iraq is, that is nothing compaired to what a few dirty bombs would do in our major cities.
Peace!

As usual, we are not United, not presenting a United front in all aspects of society/religion, etc. Hence, the differences of ideas/ideals are not going to be agreed upon. The real deep truth of war, what we really are fighting for and about is all about evil vs. good. Unfortunately, so many factors are entertwined in the mix, that it is hard to see the truth. Even the President is heavily influenced, as a Saved Christian man, and has battles in his mind as we all do. My brother went to Iraq, and the conditions of our Army is not what it should be, just as our society is not as it should be, just as our hearts and minds are not what they should be. We are in a battle for good my brother, so pray that the will of God be done.

You're on my side. That's all I care about. God is a cypher.
1. No.
2. I'm undecided - there's something to be said for 'cleaning up messes that you started', but I'm not really an expert.
3. Oh yes, dearly. I'm not American, though, so I have to sit by idly watching 300 million people decide our new 'global overlord'...
It's sad.

I've once heard that "War is Hell". Since Hell is a biblical place, then through the transitive property of religion, you must indeed be siding with God.
Ha Ha Ha!
Actually, The fact that a country that is heavily ruled by religion is now enriching Uranium scares the heck out of me!!!
