I am a 30ish man, professional,athletic,fun loving, with spare during the weekdays.
My question to all of you 30-50 year old women out there is; Would you be offended if I came up to you in a department or grocery store and complemented you, on your looks, figure, clothing, whatever, is this offensive ? Would asking you out for a lunch date be to foward, or just freaky. I am married, but love women. so what do you think.

Approaching someone that way is not wrong, but it is for you because you are married!!!!
What is wrong with you??? Do you really think that some woman would be receptive to a married man's advances?? If you are married and are obviously not satisfied with what you've got, tell your wife, leave and get divorced. Then you can play the field all you want. Screwing around is obviously the sign of a very weak-minded person. Grow some balls and do the right thing. You're not only messing with the minds of these random women you approach, but you also have no consideration for the person you married or the vows you took. I sure hope you do not have children, because this will effect them too.
How would you feel if your wife did this to you?

Dude! You need to seek professional help and fast. Some things are better left unsaid. The things you think about women other than your WIFE are one of those things! I feel sorry for your wife. You should be taking HER out to dinner and complimenting HER on her appearance and not other women.
You are wanting your cake and eating it too. If you want to do the right thing since in your own words "Would asking you out for a lunch date be to forward, or just freaky. I am married, but love women"........... Divorce your wife FIRST! Show her the respect you obviously aren't giving her.

If your a 30ish man and married then i thinnk you would be able to figure this out yourself, theres nothing wrong with looking but why would you be asking these women out if you are married? And as for tha compliments if you came up to me and said those things i would think you were some kind of stalker and probably call security.. So yes its wrong and maybe you should start giving those compliments to the women you married your wife.....

a comment to the women who told the asker to put his spare time into the marriage;
may the spare time HE has is due to the time SHE won't put into the marriage...
but to answer the question, a love for the female form is not wrong. but if you are trying to pick up the female form while married, that's not so good.
If it is just a compliment to be nice and make that woman feel a little better about herself, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

If you are married, you shouldn't be asking women for lunch dates. Complimenting someone on what they're wearing is okay, but anything else (figure) in a grocery store might freak a girl out.

Are you asking for a rude answer or a slap in the face? aren't you old or wise enough to understand the ways and means of getting properly introduced to other women? Besides, you're a married man, doesn't this make any difference to you?

I would send you to that faraway place to F*c* yourself!
Why are men so desperate?! Come on you have a wife, and who knows maybe kids!! You should be ashamed of yourself if you do these things!!!
And if you or someone like you approaches me in a department store or grocer and complimented me I would just smile and thank you but if you would ask me out knowing you are married man... its sick I would tell your wife.

You should use your flattery (and spare time) on your wife. I am single and find it very offensive if a married man asks me out. If you'd put your energy into your marriage then you wouldn't even be considering another woman.

If you were single it would be a compliment. Since you are married it is the most disgusting thing in the world. I hope your wife checks on the computer and find out what you are writing. I also hope Lorena Bobbit is her hero.
