Now that's a good quote, don't think you'll find a scripture that agrees with that.

Scripture would not be in agreement with Eric Fromm. Scripture teaches that the meaning of life comes from outside, from god, which is of course totally false. Fromm was correct that the meaning of life comes from and can only be found inside.
