See if anyone is selling that make and model @ www.autotrader.com.

If it has so many new parts that you've spent big money on why don't you just keep it as a back up rather than give it to a dealer as a trade in?

Don't count on the Celica as a downpayment. You won't get anything.

You never know when you may need a spare in case yours goes in the shop. If snow is a problem get some chains or snow tires.

Put liability insurance on it only. Tell the insurance company you want an antique/occasional policy on it only. That is pretty cheap.

I am sorry but I think it is. Check in the black book. I sold my Honda accord 1992 for a $1000.00 in 2003 no one wanted to pay more than $2000.00 (which was the original price I was trying to sell it for). It had a For Sale sign for about 2 months. The paint was new, the seats inside were also new, the a/c worked perfectly fine. The care was in really good conditions and I still couldn't sell it for what I originally wanted too. Good luck though! =)

It's too much. Although you have put all this money into it, the cost would never be covered by insurance if it were to be totalled in an accident. You would have to find a person who appreciates the fact that the major parts in the car are not the original, and don't have the mileage on them that the original parts would have.
Good luck.

Yes it is, I would sell it for about $2000 considering that it's soon to be a classic and that it's been a good reliable car.

It could depend on the milage, but the car is 26 years old. If you're patient you can ask more for it and lower it if it's not selling.

5K is too much for such an old car. It belongs in an antique shop.

unfortunately, even with all of the new stuff and in excellent condition... you're probably looking at $1000 at the most.
