this is really off the wall but try HONESTY............find something u like about her, not sexual either, and tell her about it. Let the smile show on ur face as well as ur eyes.
Don't bring up anyting even close to sex as this is a super quick turn off to most women.
Be a good guy.

How about "Can I buy you a drink?" That way if she says yes, you can start conversating. If she says no, it won't be such a big let down and there won't be a big scene about it either.
