All Christian Religions believe in the same God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. They all should have the same love, peace and joy that Jesus taught. It is not the Bible that confuses the Christians but the theologians that came up with so many different views. All religions are basically the same for Christians. It will be nice when they start understanding this concept and quit condemning each other. With this type of gathering together we can all move forward in the Lord. The extremists, I am a loss about. Why would anyone want to kill others who do not have their beliefs is beyond me?

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

The situation is grave, and from a humane point of view the answers are not easy. Unfortunately, the answer is elimination of all extremists that incite hate and execute hateful plans.

I like the question. Religions should get back to basics...We believe in God (if there is one)...stop trying to convert others to their belilef systems that don't want to hear the message and respect one anothers belief systems regardless of disagreeing. It's never going to happen, but I am an idealist...If they can all get back to believing in God and at least agree on that one point it'd be a start...Exremists are always going to exist and we're never going to be rid of them because they BELIEVE in CAPS whatever they are told by other extremists without question or thought (biggest thiing is they don't think or question at all) a self perpetuating cancer upon all of us. PEACE!

ALL EXTREMISTS MUST BE KILLED!!!!!!!

Seriously though, what can be done? Nothing really. The history of religion is the history of extremism. Maybe it's time for humanity to embrace reason rather than superstition.

All religions will never co-exist together.
As long as you have religion you will have war.
Some will always feel that they are right and therefore the others are less than human and it is ok to kill them.
Religion breds war

Unfortunately, most religions damn the others.
Most religious texts -at some point- recommend killing anyone of other faiths. All religions cannot coexist.

Extremeists must be killed.
I see no other livable alternative.
