Do nerds take care of themselves by practicing good hygiene, eat properly, regularly exercise, live and love passionately?

If not, maybe that's why girls don't like nerds. Girls usually like guys who dress smart, look confident, have a healthy sense of humor, and enjoys life and loves with a passion.

We do like them because they actually see females for us. They are willing to get to know us more and not just to what we look like on our outside but yet what we have to offer on the inside. They are more opening minded about what they want in life and in there special someone. All I know is that when ever I have dated the regular guy all I get is a broken heart. But I'll tell you what the nerdy guys treat a women right. Who knows maybe it's the way they were raised....who knows. But to say I have 4 brothers and none are nerds and they are great guys. So I guess it really boils down to how they are raised on how a guy treats a girl....

Generally because women are socially very self-conscious and can't countenance the idea of being seen with someone who is evidently a nerd. Status anxiety.

Nerds by definition are people who aren't preoccupied by how others perceive them.

Girls LOVE nerds. Just the ones you pick, don't. Besides, keep doing what you do as a NERD cuz I am one proud NERD and I have a spouse. If you keep yourself busy in your daily life and activities, that one special girl that was created just for you shall appear in your life without notice. Just be patient. I think when girls are young,they go for looks,but in time,they'll realise that a good-looking bloke who knows it,isn't a catch. Nerds will come out on top later on when personality and trust are better qualities for a spouse to have...

they do...you just have to find the right one. trust me, girls are nerds. they hide it well. give them time. it's only in college and beyond that they really realize that looks aren't everything. they become tired of the same things and how boring most guys are.
i'm a nerd myself, i just hide it sometimes. but i've come to terms with it and enjoy hanging around 'nerds' too...
