I'm a naturally hairy girl and I choose to not trim my muff. I understand my b/f likes the trimmed look and I admit it's gotten a bit unruly, but I don't want to shave.
My b/f has started calling me a wookie and whenever we go out and he gets drunk, he starts telling everyone things like, it looks like I have a midget with an afro stuck between my legs or I have a giant hamster down my pants.
Recently, I started braiding it so that it would calm down a bit, but now it kind of looks like dread locks and my b/f keeps singing "I shot the Sheriff" and asking if I'm hiding Bob Marley in my pants.
What do I do?

Okay for starters, Drop the boyfriend and find someone who will respect you as a person. Keep in mind that if he does what you say he does now , it will only get worse, I know from experience and I am leaving my relationship with two kids which is a lot harder to do.
You need to find a man that is willing to except you for who you are, not wither or not you shave down there. I have to say that in relationships there is supposed to be meeting in the middle, but your boyfriend seems rude and disrepectful and if I were you I would tell him to get lost.
For the other half of your question if you have those little sizzors like what you get when you buy nail clippers you can use those, they work great. I am not into shaving down there, however I do trim it to keep it from being a pain in the but, it also cuts down on the heat rashes and if you have ever had one down there you'll know what I mean.
You can do it right before you take a shower and you don't have to go bald down there.
I don't like shaving down there cause stubble that grows back is a pain and who enjoys shaving every day anyways, Women shave their legs, arm pits, some have facial hair they get waxed and so on....

You may not like the answer I am going to give you. First things first. It is YOUR BODY and NOT your boyfriends. You do what is comfortable for you and what you prefer to do. He is being very disrespectful to you not only in private but in public as well. This is a bad sign in a relationship.
Most men and women like a clean well groomed muff. If you don't want to shave it, try trimming it. There are lots of products out here today that can help you with that.

get rid of him, if he cant respect your choice much less not make fun of you for it you need to move on. If you cant do that tell him you will if he will...and braiding? come on now a bit of a trim isnt bad and its not shaving

take the braids out and trim it a little bit. you don't have to shave it all, but you may want to clean it up a little bit to make him a little happier and shut him up for a bit, and that'll make you happier too. you never know, you may actually like less hair down there too...
and it's just a good thing he hasn't called it a pube mullet yet

You have a jerk for a b/f. He does not care about you for him to put your business out there like that in attempt to get you to shave. If you don't want to shave, DON'T! Have GIRL POWER!
