The world will never end only the wicked people on it.
Psalms 37:10,11 and 29 says world without end
Genesis 8:22 World will never cease and he will not kill all the animals as he once did. Just the wicked people.
That will include the majority of mankind.
Just as it did in the days of Noah.
They asked Jesus who can be saved in Luke he said few.
Matthew 7:13 then he gave an illustration.
Go in through the narrow gate because broad and spacious is the road that leads to destruction. Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life and few are the ones finding it.
Before the flood no one thought they would die.
Yet all but Noah drowned.

All those problems have always been with us. Whether it was 5,000 years ago, or 2,000 years ago, or 500 years ago, or today.
There's always been bribery and corruption and neglect and violence. There's never been a time in history when there hasn't been.
Jesus said that such things are bound to happen. They are not to be taken as a sign of the "end times."
He went on to say that we do not know the day or the hour. He said that the Second Coming would happen when we least expect it.
Plenty of people, including in our own time, have attempted to predict the end of the world. But if they read Jesus' words on the subject, they would know that such attempts are futile.

We are in fact living in the last days. But if you would read your bible thoroughly it states that neither man or even the angels in heaven no the day or the hour. Man far to many times make up or assume that they know when the world is going to end in which they don't. The only thing that I can say is to live right love the lord with all your heart and pray that in let you into the pearly gates.

No, the world will never end. The world might be restored when Jesus the Messiah comes back to Earth and strive to fix what is wrong and make it right once again. It's very possible that it might happen sometime in the future.

People have, as you are pointing out, claimed that the end of the world is near for thousands of years. "Just look at the signs..."
Jesus said that when He returns, there will be no signs (Matthew 24:36-39). There's nothing to look for and no way to predict. Therefore, we need to be ready at all times (Matthew 25).

I'll get back to you when I've published my best-selling novel and win the Nobel prize for literature. I've paid the publisher an extra 10 million under the table to make sure it gets done. I also threatened the Nobel committee if they don't give me the prize. My mother is appalled at me, but I could care less.
Why do you ask?

not the end of the world literally, the end of what humans think of as the world-a major change in civilization or the destruction of it. this world (the planet) will not die, people might but it will still be here after us.
