This is my answer to this question...
"Why are Christians so easily offended?"

This was my answer....
Question: why are christians so eisialy offended?

Details of Violation: Christians love the Lord and God, and it does offend us they people who do not belive in God and Jesus feel that they have the right to blaspheme them or call them hurtful insulting names. If you dont want anything to do with God or His son Jesus, then stay out of the religion forums. IF you continue to come here to insult God and Jesus, it's because you really do believe in them and are calling out for help to be led to them.

Reason of Violation:Other :

I answered the question. I did not use any offensive words. But it seems to be totally acceptable on here to post filthy language, obscene content. To desecrate through vulgar words and phraises the Name of God. If someone askes a question on here who is not a believer, be careful of the question. You might not be able to handle the answer.

Being a Christian has its rewards but you will be mocked and resented for being one. Jesus said: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I know it's not much of an answer but you would not truly be a Yahoo! Answers member unless you got at least one violation for no reason whatsoever.

For what it's worth, I think your offense was assuming that the "Religion and Spirituality" category is the same as the "Christians and Jesus" category. You basically said that only people who want to talk about Jesus should come in to the category. Of course, you don't have the right or power to say who should come in and who shouldn't. And, of course, "religion and spirituality" means ALL religions, even those that have no belief in Jesus whatsoever. Like, for example, me.

But do I believe the answer should have been removed? Probably not.

I'd say it probably had to do with "stay out of the religion forums". Religion does not only = God. This is an open forum for all and lack of religion is just as much a part of religion as any other belief. How could one come here to get real answers regarding religion without having all parties represented? Yahoo is not going to support someone trying to limit their Answers forums.

I think people are a little violation crazy.

Someone may have taken offense to the "stay out of the religious forums" line.

The language here sometimes has to be very exacting.

I have been cuffed on many an answer, as people thought i was being insulting.

You may need to respond with "If you do not believe in God, then why come down to these forums? It appears all you wish to do is hurl hurtful names"

You may still get cuffed, but you'll have a better leg to stand on.

Hon....... a religious forum isnt for Christian believers alone.
You seem to presume how this forum is to be used.

"If you dont want anything to do with God or His son Jesus, then stay out of the religion forums. IF you continue to come here to insult God and Jesus, it's because you really do believe in them and are calling out for help to be led to them."

You have no right to tell anyone how the forums are to be used.
That was probably it.

Well it should not have been deleted

but your argument about Christianity is not very good. You seem to forget that Christians have been killing, torturing and basically making the world a living hell for anyone who does not believe the same for thousands of years. The religious forum is for everyone not just you and to say that means you have not understood anything Christ taught

Maybe the agressive nature of your answer, calling out at specific people, and using the question as a means of broadcasting a negative message towards other users. Had the posting been more objective, they may have okayed it.

Maybe, because your Jihad changes the nature of this forum and alienates 99% of the religions out there. This forum is for EVERYONE to discuss matters of religion and spirituality, it is not a christian soapbox forum. In fact, it is not a christian forum at all, it is a discussion forum who's topic is religion and spirituality. You have no right to discriminate against all the religious and nonreligious people who wish to participate.

On a medium like this, that is so public. Everything you say is bound to effect someone. Take it in stride. Who cares. People really cant handle things anymore. Nowadays people are able to filter all sort of different annoyances out of their lives so that they are not used to one when it faces them. This a normal reaction from a closeminded person. forget them.

regardless of what religion, the way we ask a question, the way some one answers,..people tend to be defensive with a subject that they are not versed on.sex used to be that way(TOPIC),if we ask a question, why not accept ,,,, an answer given.it is just what that person feels at that time .does it do us any good in a discussion for everyone to agree?if you disagree ,,tell them why..then we learn.....accept the opposing view ,,,,think about it ,,,then accept or reject ,,,,,,nothing says any body has to be right or wrong thats just how they feel about subject at that time,..
