my nerves are shot, eyes bloodshot, i am sluggish, and very easily pissed off today. i haven't slept in almost two weeks and am a wreck. usually i'm quite the opposite of everything i just listed above. i have no idea what is wrong with me. i have been tense the whole time and i have no idea why this has been happening. i have been quite patient most of the time and it seems my patience dwindles lower and lower everyday. now i have no patience left. so i need a way to relax before i go insane from the stress. please, i am very desperate. and could you tell me what is going on with me if you have any idea or have experienced this at all.

Try 20 minutes or more of meditation. People get all tense when they think over and over on their problems or themselves and they feel they have no power to change. So stop the thinking. In meditation, just close your eyes and try to still your mind. When a thought comes into your mind, just observe it is there without judging it, and then immediately let it go and clear your mind again. Keep doing that for 20 minutes. You'll find some times when your mind is completely clear of thoughts, and that is very relaxing.

i would suggest you take some time out from your hectic schedule as it could be the cause, take one step at a time(remember baby steps) . Try spreading out your time instead of doing everything at once. take short breaks if you have to. Try doing something you like to relax your mind, maybe reading, baking, sewing, watching telly, even listening to music.
Besides that, i found lighting lightly scented candles like apple and 5spice,chamomile, cinnamon, eucalyptus, frankincense, lavender, lemon, spearmint, or vanilla around the house or room really help to relax the mind.
You could even have a nice hot bath with a few drops of your favourite essential oil or bath salts or any listed above would be fantastic after a long hectic day. Sipping hot green tea, or hot tea with cinnamon with some lemon rind helps too..
