The B1 is a long range bomber. (Thus the designation "B1") It isn't big like traditional bombers because it was developed for the delivery of nuclear weapons. It doesn't need such a large payload.
Since the end of the cold war, the B1 has been used for large-scale conventional warhead smart-bombs. Its biggest advantage is its operational altitude. That thing flies so high, only the worlds most technologically advanced countries have anything that can shoot it down.
While it is capable of extremely high speeds and maneuverability which is superior to other bombers, it would fail in a dogfight. It just isn't designed for it.

The B-1 was designed for one purpose: the delivery of nuclear weapons. However, as the Soviet Union dissipated into the individual Russian states, the U.S. no longer had a need to have a nuclear weapon delivery platform. As such, each B-1 has been modified and the mission of the aircraft has changed. It is now a primary weapons delivery platform for non-nuclear weapons. It is frequently used to deliver GPS guided bombs. Its ability to fly at high speeds at very low altitudes make it an excellent weapons delivery platform.
It wasn't intended to replace the B-52, however, it has largely taken over the B-52's original role. The B-52 has been modified and it is primarily used as a cruise missile launching platform. The B-52 fulfills this role extremely well and as such, there is no intention of replacing it for at least 40 more years. By the time they do replace it, it will be about 100 years old. That's when you know your original product fulfilled its job very well!!!

The B-1B Lancer is a USAF long-ranged bomber aircraft capable of traveling at supersonic speeds. Also has the swept-winged design for more maneverablities. Go on http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?fsID=81. It will give you 100% facts about the bomber.

Low altitude bomber, built by Rockwell International in the 70's and 80's, I believe. Beautiful plane but had several issues including one in which seagulls sucked into the engine on takeoff caused one to crash.
I would check Rockwell's website to see if they still contain any information on the plane.

or you extremely getting one or are you asking evaluations approximately them? or you getting a computerized trans or a handbook trans? in case you extremely desire a quickly motor vehicle then bypass with a handbook trans Lancer 2011. despite the fact that in case you desire a topic-unfastened motor vehicle then bypass with the computerized trans Eclipse 2011. for my section do no longer decide for Mitsubishi, get a BMW considering the fact which you get greater bang to your dollar. Mitsubishi standards on motor vehicle have drop critically over their years of operation. the final ones have been the 3000gt VR4 twin turbos and Eclipse GSX, those are racing autos from their versatile engine (undemanding for racing mod). it extremely is ultimate to talk to a Mitsubishi salesman than yahoo answer, you may bypass accessible and skim around whilst you're decide to purchase one.
