Actually you CAN make fun of yourself...it's just not as interesting...and for some reason when you are with friends it is sort of fun to make fun of other people; as long as you know that they are probably making fun of you just as much....
And anyway life is too short to care if other people are making fun of you.

So long as it's all in good humor and you're not really offending other people, it's okay to make fun of people and it's always ok to make fun of oneself! True.

We tend as a society to point fingers at others, sometimes so that people don't notice our own faults as we point out theirs. It's sad I know...but it is the truth.
I try not to make fun of others because it is hurtful, but it really depends on the situation. I must have grown up in a morbid family...because...when my siblings would fall and hurt themselves...I would laugh and say to them..."I know it hurt honey and help them get up and start laughing because it was funny to watch" is that sad or what....but, it's human nature sometimes to laugh at someone...Is it right?.......probably not...is it funny - Yes! giggle giggle...lol - We were dirt poor......so we would for fun - make fun of each other and the one that laughed first had to get up in front of the rest and try to make us laugh. Sometimes....we made fun of each other...and laughed. (Soda would fly out our nose...type of funny you know what I mean?)
Laugh the world laughs with you. Cry and I'll laugh at ya...sorry...

There is always something amusing happening.. but it should never be done at someones expense. making fun of others can be a very cruel, and hurtful thing.
It's always better to laugh at yourself..
Laugh with them, never at them.

As a Christian, it is humbling to make fun of yourself when you error or fumble. It really isn't appropriate to make fun of anyone. How can someone benefit by embarrassing someone else?
