Hell these days you can request 600 dollars a week.
I have been looking for a sitter/day care for my 6 month old and have been quoted and this is no lie
$168 for part time (under 30 hrs)
$210 for full time (over 30 hours)
I have to provide all food and diapers and wipes and a snack for the week for the older children.
MIND YOU SHE IS 6 MONTHS AND DON"T EAT SNACKS
I have been quoted
$150 part time (under 25 hr)
$200 full time (over 25 hr)
child care these days is a must and parents are getting raped to pay the fees
if i go to work i am looking at having maybe $50-$60 left after i pay for it and that goes into the gas tank top get back and forth so what the hay
i might as well stay home and not work because why work and still not be able to help my hubby out paying some the bills.
just my opinion and my input.

my sister paid 150 a week, regardless of whether baby went or not(like if she got sick didnt go...etc) now my other sister is watching her for $100 a wk. So it would probaly b best to work out a compromise on what u need to make and what they can afford, so nobody gets pissy w/ ea other down the road, and everybody stays happy. Babysitting is more than just a job you have a real impact on these children, that is the most formative time of their lives, so next to their parents u become very important to them as a teacher, friend, and playmate, and you really cant put a price on that. Great childcare people are priceless!!!!

MINIMUM 150 a week and that is less than minimum wage. that is a hard job to do! the pay should be more but it's difficult on working parents too. BUT people have to live on what they earn babysitting. this is a difficult question to answer! If your friend put her son in a daycare center it would be about the same or a little more (where i live, in south florida)

between 5 and 10 an hour depending on what is affordable for your friend and how difficult the kids are and were you watch them. That type of thing. There is no real set rate it is just what ever you two agree on.

my sister pays 75 bucks a week for in-home daycare, and thats CHEAP......most daycares in my area are 90 bucks a week for a child that age. My son is also 3, and I have checked into day care and also private home care. In general anywhere between 60-75 bucks is what I would charge. Shes getting a bargin......trust me. I live in GA (small town if that matters)

well it depends on whether or not ur certified.. how much do u think u need @ ur age.. alot of people babysit and when they're not getting what they thought was suitable they start to ask for more $$ and u don't want to do that..
i would figure out all my bills 1st and then decide what's gonna be reasonable..
but i think like $7 is what they usually pay...

for a three twelve months previous i might value 5 an hour thats one hundred seventy five for a 35 hour week yet once you prefer to maintain the interest decrease it to declare one hundred a week then they're spending much less then in the event that they positioned her in daycare and your nonetheless making a outstanding volume

I would say it would depend on what you do, her income and profession and where you live, here in Los Angeles it's very expensive, minimum 300 dls per week
