Vonage will apply a $39.99 disconnect fee to each line that is canceled within one year of being activated. If you cancel within the Money Back Guarantee period of 30 days and return your device within 14 days of your cancellation, the disconnect fee will be refunded.

I dont have Vonage nor have I heard about a cancelation fee. I would go back and read the terms of agreement I know it may be long and boring but that is where your rights are. They could sneak in a $500 cancellation policy and if you didnt read it but checked that you did you could be screwed. What I would do is copy and paste it in a word document and then search for key words like cancelation, deactivate, etc. Good Luck
