I have gone through some utterly disgraceful answers given by our participants to the questions especially related to Islam.Dont you think that they should not be just overlooked but to bring them into the genuine discussion plateform ? I dont think they have the courage to know the truth.

The disgraceful answers come from those whose minds are made up, not in fact, but in ignorance.
All you can do is remain positive, ignore the participants who are simply spewing the garbage philosophy that has been dictated to them by their closed minded families during their youth, and remember that there are many who would truly appreciate the ability to understand and learn from those who are not carbon copies of ourselves.
If it is truly offensive, report it.
Good luck

There is an old saying: "NEVER ARGUE POLITICS, RELIGION or FOLK MUSIC"... that is, unless it's an arguement that you want.

There is some real anger at the Islamic and at Muslims. If you post something about Islam, then you need not be surprised when people come after you.

In America, there is still such a thing as freedom of speech and, one of the principals of FREE SPEECH is, that YOU have a RIGHT to say anything you wish... be it smart or stupid... and I have a RIGHT to tell you how smart of stupid I think what you said REALLY IS.

If you can't take the heat... stay out of the kitchen. If you really believe the tenants of some religion, then, if you post something about that religion in a public forum, you have to be ready to defend your point of view... and if you can't' do that... then it's best if you just ask for recipes.

Islam completely brainwashes the person's mind because terrorism is the central core of the religion and if anyone ignored their sayings they are killed or thrown out of the community such a religion is a threat to all of us and islam should be banned.

As far as courage to face the truth is concerned every religion has flaws and u must also have the courage to face the thruth if u believe in islam.

Do keep in mind that it is only your opinion that the person who happens to disagree with you is a "perverted participant" who has answered "disgracefully". Could it be that anyone who has another opinion is not worthy of listening to in your opinion? Are you showing prejudice? I like seeing alternate viewpoints as long as the discussion doesn't go into name calling.

When you ask a question, be prepared for a variety of answers, each reflecting the answerer's knowledge and personality. Not all are going to be answers you like or agree with, but that's the way of the world. We're not here to agree, but to share our honest views so others may learn from them.

I find it odd that you'd actually consider an open forum, such as the one we are all posting to, as a means to carry on a serious conversation. If you are looking to discuss politics or religious views, do you really think doing so on a forum hosted by something named "YAHOO" is a good idea?

it's one of those "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" kind of things....questions cannot be asked in such an open forum without opinions and responses different from the asker. if you want responses from like minded people, find a more private forum for your topic. just because someone doesn't agree, or even has what you feel is a perverse response, doesn't make them wrong....what you believe is just as wrong to them as what they believe is wrong to you....and as far as courage to know the "truth".....well...the "truth" is different for different people. your truth is not my truth...just as my truth is not yours.

Some feel that Islam is no more the truth than Christianity.

Some people can't be convinced of anything.

And the truth has a way of not being the truth

I think that, as you can see, most people see these resposes for what they are. The person writting them appears childish and immature. Most just skip that answer and keep reading.

**To those who write those types of responses - this is not the way to get your point across but I respect your freedom of speech.

You cannot have a geniune discussion with people like this. They will not listen to other peoples opinions and be open-minded about them. Just ignore them.
