I think it depends on how your cooking the chicken breasts. Sometimes they shrink while cooking. If your chopping or slicing them in a dish that should be fine. You could do a great chicken parm sub minus all the calories. All you do is sautee some portabello mushrooms or whatever mushrooms you have on hand. some onion and some garlic in a little olive oil and pat of butter. When tender add some broth to loosen up the bit on the bottom just a little. Add in a can of tomato sauce. Grill your chicken. When cooked slice it into chunks and add to sauce. Put chicken and sauce over sub rolls. Put some cheese on it. Provolone works great so does mozzarella. Put it under the broiler for a minute or two and your done. You may even have some left over for the really hungry people. Serve it with salads or fries.

6 is plenty. Make more and you will make your guests feel bad for leaving so much food. Plus, chicken is a protien and will leave your friends full, too much will make them lathargic and maybe sleepy. Instead of more chicken, have some appetizers or make a more hearty side to serve with the chicken.
You want your guests to leave wanting just a little more and how good the food was rather than talking about how MUCH food there was and how full they feel.
Now if you live in Texas and it's a family type of gathering, buy a chicken for each guest! heehee!

no- go with about 12 to 15 cause some people like my dad can eat up to 5 pieces of chicken thats any size

6 breasts for 6 people is definately enough. a whole breast is really more than one portion size, but it's good to be generous when you're feeding people.

depends on how many male are going to eat males eat more so should use 1 1/2 per person for males and 1 piece for females

Its perfect. Serve some appetizers before and they wont be starving at dinner and want seconds. And pinzah's recipe is Racheal Rays recipe and ive tried it and its not that good so dont do it!!!!
