There's this girl I like, I've known her for over 11 years and for the last three years I've fallen deeply in love with her, however, she doesn't seem interested in me, so about five months ago I told her how I felt about her and she said that she doesn't like me in the same way, she said I was a "great guy" and everything but how many times is that one used? Now five months later, I still have feelings for her and things are exactly the way they were before I told her. What should I do? She's perfect for me, and I admit I may not be right for her but I just can't see myself with anyone else, in fact I have never been with anyone else, so I'm not sure I'm even ready to be with her. I just want to get her before someone else does. Any advice?

maybe you are not attractive enough

A guy and a girl cannot just be friends unless one of them is in a relationship, or one of them is not attractive

You sound really young honey, so you probably won't believe me when I tell you that there are more fish in the sea.

You're only hurting yourself by continuing to be around someone who does not share your feelings. The friendship sounds fine, so perhaps it is better for you to think about dating others. Though you don't want to date anyone else, once you open yourself up to the possibility you might actually meet someone who returns your affections.

Unrequited love, is the stuff of romance and drama. In real life it completely sucks. Maybe she'll see you with someone else and realize that she really does in fact have feelings for you, or you can begin dating someone and realize that she wasn't that perfect after all. Either way you win.

Why would a girl want someone who is infatuated with her. I think she would be afraid of being smothered. Really, you haven't been with anyone else? Try doing that. Go a different direction from her. If she's not interested, don't keep wasting your time.
