to reach every corner of the globe, and provide iced coffee to people who probabaly never even knew it existed.. :) and once they get hooked on it.. well they are stuck. and they will always have these people as their customers.. it becomes a fad, a place to hang out... especially in some of the newer countries. i was surprised to find it in asia.. its everywhere now.. where u least expect it. its trying to get its franchise and name on the global scale to become somewhat like mcdonalds or coca cola.

I agree with the 2 ladies above me. Starbucks is addicting, like liquid crack. And costs more too.... But I still love a venti caramel frappucino!

If you go to www.starbucks.com they should have a list of locations, so you can find the nearest store to where you're going on business.

Not sure about International strategy... but I do know they strive to "create a third home" ie; you have home, you have work, and you have Starbucks.
