depends on the dog diffrent dogs pick up diffrent colors but they only see like 1 or 2 not all the colors

They do...not in the same way that humans do, though. They are not able to see the entire color spectrum, colors are more muted, and not able to distinguish between colors that are close in the spectrum. Not a problem, though, since they rely on their sense of smell.

they see some color. see there are different structures in our eyes. rods and cones. rods help you see movement cones help you see color, dogs have a lot more rods and we have a lot more cones. dogs see small movements especially in the dark much better than we do. it also affects depth perception which is why dogs cant undertand pictures or 2 dimensional drawings. we see colors and depth much better than them....but vision is pretty secondary to how things smell anyway.

it used to be thought they saw in only black and white,but studies show they do have rods and cones in their eyes as we do,just not as many,i read somewhere that they see green and yellow kind of alike--everythings kind of a washed out yellowish or something.anyway,there is some color,just not a lot,and not really vivid.it isnt all shades of grey.

Well most people think they dont see the colours im not sure about it yet though.
