Have you recently moved to Canada? If so, did the immigration process take longer or shorter than the predicted waiting times from your Embassy?

Yes, but I am on a visitors visa while I await the immigration process for permanent residency.
(I am married a Canadian, thus the ability to live here on a Visitors Visa during process).

I am guessing that the predicted waiting time will be fairly accurate... give a month one way or the other.

I´m on the process, and entered permanent residence on July 2004, we were just asked for the Medical and police certificates on June, and I´m still waiting what´s next...you tell me...but It worth it for sure....I have a couple of cousins out there...Canada expects us!!! good luck. It´s just that they want to be sure about the kinf of people they allow in...I guess...

it took a long time. but the wait was worth it!!! i would not go back for anything!!!!
