I was an fairly thick girl up until last year when i started losing weight. I really loved the fact that I was shrinking, but I completely miss my butt.....and I want it back.....are there any exercises I could do to get a bigger, shapely butt?

thats the bad thing about losing weight. you can't necessarily choose where you lose it from. i don't think there are any exercises to make it bigger. there are exercises to make it more firm and shapely. try doing squats and also lie on the floor and lift your hips up, squeeze your butt, and then bring your body back down

Yes, lunges are good, but I am sorry to tell you that it will probably never be the way it was unless you gain weight again. Fat is lost everywhere when you lose weight; unfortunately you can't pick and choose where from.
