i dont know why people have a problem with someone doing this. maybe it does pass on germs but wouldnt they be the same germs you would get if you kissed someone?

You might not be a "pig" but drinking straight from a jug or carton is unsanitary. It will pass on any germs you have to other people who pour the liquid from the same container.

If you live a lone and no one else drinks from stuff in your fridge - no.

If someone else is living with you and expecting an uncontaminated drink from something in the fridge you share - then yes - you are a pig for not caring enough about them and risking getting them sick with your germs. Or if you serve a guest some soda or milk with your germs on it - you are a pig.

If you are the only one who is ever going to drink from that bottle and noone sees you go right ahead.

Etiquette is merely formalized kindness. Noone wants to drink out of your backwash. That is what is piggy.

Nope you are doing them a favor ....if enough germs are passed around then you develop immunity...same reason kids should be allowed to eat dirt and people should stop using antibactrial soap

There are glasses to pour your milk and pop in. It's not
very sanitary to drink in this manner.

YES!!!! You are putting your germs on that bottle. And then your germs are poured into the next persons glass or cereal or baby bottle. YUK!!!!!!!!!

i always drink my favorite soda out of the bottle... but other people who drink out of the same bottle will tend to have problems when you do so.
