I think this girl likes me and we are in band together. We hang out during band, but not much elsewhere. How can I start doing more things with her so that our friendship grows, eventually ending up in a relationship with her?

Well if you hang out during band, why don't you ask her to go somewhere with you after? That way it's just casual getting to know one another better. Nothing suss though. You sound like your in school (sorry if your not) So why not ask her to go to the mall with you to check out a new CD or something. Don't ask her back to your house (she will run for the hills and you will miss your chance) Start to show an interest in what programs she watches and her family life (If you haven't already) Good luck!

oh, okay...it shouldn't be very tough, as you already said that you have this feeling that this girl already likes you. So she may be waiting anxiously too for you to make the move first. talk to her more. after the band practice you may offer her for a ride home or walk her up to the bus stop...Communication is the key. Smile at her more often. Compliment her on her singing or the way she plays the keyboard...i mean whatever she is doing in the band. This definitely would do the trick. After band practice you can also suggest for a drink and you two can have great conversation. Good luck!
